Ministries

The Lutheran Church of Vestavia Hills has a variety of Ministry Opportunities. Below are the Primary Ministries within our church and a brief explanation of each. For additional information, follow the links where you will find detailed information on each ministry. We look forward to having you and your family join us through any or all of these ministries.

Children

LCVH offers a variety of exciting Children’s Ministry programs on Sunday morning and at other times that support parents in helping their children to know, love, and serve the Lord.

Youth

LCVH shows its love and concern for youth by providing a dynamic youth program for students in grades 6-12 that includes activities of fun, fellowship, and the study of God’s Word.

Adults

LCVH enables adults to continue their growth in the Christian faith by sponsoring numerous Bible studies on Sunday morning and at other times during the week, and by offering opportunities for adults to come together in Christian fellowship.

Local Missions & International Missions

LCVH members put their faith into action by reaching out to people in need in the community. LCVH follows Christ’s command to “make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19) by supporting projects in Uganda and Nicaragua through financial offerings and by sending mission teams to these countries.
