SOCIAL MINISTRY

JANUARY FOCUS:  COMMUNITY FOOD BANK OF CENTRAL ALABAMA

For our January Social Ministry focus, please help us collect non-perishable food for our neighbors in need. All donations will be delivered to the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama to be distributed immediately to the hungry families in our area. The Food Bank continues to be stressed due to the high cost of food staples and the cold weather we’ve been experiencing. Check out the bulletin board at church for more information on the work being done by the Community Food Bank in  our area and the important needs they are meeting! Thank you for your continued generosity to the Social Ministry projects! 

 NOTE:  If you are not able to come to church and deliver items, please consider a monetary donation.  Make checks payable to LCVH with Community Food Bank in the memo section so the donation can be routed appropriately. 

RUMMAGE SALE

Cleaning out for the holidays?  Pre-spring spring cleaning?  Donate your items to the Rummage Sale!  The Youth thank you! 

Drop-off donated items:  January 26th — February 4th in the Fellowship Hall

Item pickup not available (not able to accept large furniture items for the sale)

Shop the Sale:  February 7th, 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and February 8th, 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

SENIOR MINISTRY

Bible Studies at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 8th & 22nd

Men's Breakfast on January 15th at 10:00 a.m. at Ranch House Restaurant on Columbiana Road
